Consultation on Inflation Control Strategy with the Regional Government of Ogan Komering Regency

Wednesday (8/2/23), The BPS of OKU Regency received a visit from the Head of the OKU Regency Economic Section, Tommy, S.H., M.Si. and the Head of Control and Distribution Subdivision, M. Rasyid and his staff. This visit was intended to have discussions with the BPS of OKU Regency regarding the inflation control strategy in OKU Regency. One of the innovations proposed by the Head of BPS of OKU Regency , Mukti Riadi, S.ST., M.Si. is to collect data of the prices of various main commodities either every day or every week for each sub-district. This data collection aims to obtain data on the movement of commodity prices in various sub-districts, so that later price fluctuations in each sub-district can be described and can be easily identified if there is a shortage or commodity prices that are too high in an area.
