Working Visit of the Head of BPS South Sumatra Province in Cantik Village

Tuesday (22/08), Head of BPS South Sumatra Province, Wahyu Yulianto, during his working visit to the BPS OKU Regency office, he took the time to directly inspect the village which was one of the targets for development by BPS South Sumatra Province, namely Lubuk Rukam Village, District Review. Also taking part in this visit was the South Sumatra Province BPS Intermediate Expert Statistics, Samsul Munawar, Head of the District Communication and Information Department. This visit was warmly welcomed by the Village Head and all Lubuk Rukam Village Officials.

This activity is support for Lubuk Rukam Village as a Village of Love Statistics in 2023. The Head of South Sumatra Province BPS in his speech said that the Development of Beautiful Villages in 2023 aims to increase village capabilities in managing and utilizing data, especially regsosek data in developing villages. Meanwhile, the tasks of the Love Statistics Village supervisors include socializing REGSOSEK to village officials with the aim of building data for social protection programs, providing village officials with an understanding of the data and indicators included in Regsosek, providing assistance in identifying village problems through Regsosek data and indicators. Meanwhile, the statistical agent who has been appointed will be tasked with designing intervention programs based on Regsosek data and becoming a role model in changing the village for the better.

He also did not forget to convey his hope to the regional government to continue to support the activities of the Love Statistics Village, especially Lubuk Rukam Village, so that it can be nominated at the national level in 2023.
