Reconciliation of Horticultural Statistical Data for 2023

One of the routine activities carried out by BPS is the Horticultural Agricultural Statistics Survey. This survey data was obtained from the OKU Regency Agriculture Service through Field Extension Officers from all sub-districts in OKU Regency. The data collected consists of monthly data and quarterly data. Monthly data was obtained through the SPH-SBS (Seasonal Fruit Vegetables) Survey, where the commodities included include cayenne pepper, eggplant, cucumber, etc. Quarterly data is obtained through the SPH-BST (Annual Vegetable Fruit) Survey, the SPH-TBF (Biopharmaceutical Plants) Survey, and the SPH-TH (Ornamental Plants) Survey. Next, data processing is carried out via web processing. However, there are still data errors both monthly and quarterly. Therefore, it is necessary to reconcile between BPS and the Department of Agriculture to produce clean and fair data. This activity was attended by OKU District Agriculture Service employees, PPL officers from all sub-districts, and the OKU District BPS horticulture statistics team. In his speech, the Head of BPS OKU District, Mukti Riadi, said that after carrying out this reconciliation activity, conclusions could be reached so that in the next monthly and quarterly data collection nothing similar would happen.
