Hello #Data Friends

Monday (22/04/2024) OKU Regency BPS held a routine morning APEL in April 2024 which was attended by all OKU Regency BPS employees. Morning Call is a regular routine activity carried out by every BPS employee throughout Indonesia and is carried out as a form of BPS ASN commitment to remain disciplined and perform excellently in carrying out services and duties in 2024.
In this rally, the Head of BPS OKU Regency, Mr. OKU Mukti Riadi, S.ST., M.Si as the organizer of the rally, delivered the message of the Deputy for Distribution and Services Statistics of BPS RI.
including the increasing escalation of conflict in the Middle East Region which is increasingly heating up, which has an impact on the whole world including Indonesia, such as a spike in crude oil prices, the weakening of the value of the rupiah to above IDR 16,000.00 per US dollar, and disruption of Indonesia's export performance to the Middle East Region, Africa. , and Europe. In order to control the influence of conflict situations on our country's economy, BPS can play a role by providing macro indicators as a basis for the government and policy makers in observing the situation and making decisions. Apart from that, along with technological developments, BPS is innovating by utilizing the use of transaction reading machines (data scanners) and web-scrapping technology as data sources and new methods for data collection.

BPS will always remain committed to continuing to innovate in modernizing statistical business processes through resource efficiency and improving data quality to be able to provide quality statistical data so that the data produced is not just numbers but is also able to provide insight for decision and policy makers.
