Checking OKU Regency BPS Service Vehicles Ready for Auction by KPKNL Palembang

Tuesday (28/05/2024), OKU Regency BPS carried out the process of writing off 10 two-wheeled service vehicles, including 10 motorbikes. Before the removal process begins, a thorough check is carried out by the Goods Appraisal Team from the Palembang State Property and Auction Services Office (KPKNL). This check aims to ensure the condition and documents of the vehicle to obtain the sales limit value.

Head of BPS OKU Regency Mukti Riadi, Head of General Subdivision Deki Zulkarnain and State Property Manager (BMN) M. Alfaris Kurniawan participated in this checking process. Their presence shows BPS's commitment to maintaining transparency and accountability in the management of state assets.

This checking process also reflects good cooperation between BPS and KPKNL Palembang in optimizing the use of state assets. It is hoped that with this elimination, the state will benefit in non-tax state revenue. Eliminating official vehicles is a step taken to reduce the burden of maintenance and operational costs which are no longer efficient. The motorbikes that were written off had reached their useful life of 7 years and were no longer optimal for use in daily operations. Checking official vehicles by KPKNL Palembang is an important stage in the write-off process. Through solid cooperation and good governance, BPS OKU Regency strives to continue to improve the quality of statistical services to the community.
