Today (5/11), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) released Indonesia's economic growth in the third quarter of 2024 and Indonesia's employment conditions in August 2024. The Indonesian economy in the third quarter of 2024 when compared to the third quarter of 2023 (y-o-y) grew by 4.95 percent. When compared to the second quarter of 2024 (q-to-q) it grew by 1.50 percent. On a c-to-c basis, the Indonesian economy grew by 5.03 percent throughout the period January-September 2024.

BPS also released Indonesia's employment conditions in August 2024. "As of August 2024, there were 215.37 million working-age people. This number increased by 2.78 million people compared to August 2023," said Amalia.
