Regional Inflation Control Coordination Meeting 3rd Week of April 2025

Monday (21/4). As a member of the OKU Regency Regional Inflation Control Team, the OKU Regency BPS has a role in maintaining and improving inflation control in OKU Regency. One of the routine activities carried out by the TPID is attending a virtual inflation control coordination meeting held by the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs which was broadcast in the Assistant Room 2 of the OKU Regency Government. The OKU Regency BPS as a member of the TPID Team attended the Virtual Coordination Meeting on Discussion of Regional Inflation Control in 2025 which was held at the OKU Regent's Office. The virtual meeting was attended by Assistant II, Head of the Economic Division, Head of Service, Head of BUMN and Head of Vertical OPD or their representatives. This routine meeting was held in order to monitor and control prices, especially at the district level. The meeting speakers came from the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs, the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture, and the Indonesian BPS. The meeting, led by the Minister of Home Affairs, discussed the evaluation of commodity price developments that affect inflation. Based on the Price Development Index for the 3rd week of April 2025, the OKU Regency IPH experienced inflation of 0.01 percent. This value is still ranked 9th in South Sumatra and 212th nationally. The commodities that contributed the most to the increase in IPH of OKU Regency were red chili, rice, and garlic. Nationally, the commodities that experienced the most price increases were Red Onions, Red Chilies, and Garlic. The local government needs to be aware of these commodities so that there is no significant increase in prices.
