Field Supervision of Captive Power Survey 2025

On Tuesday (3/6/2025), the Head of BPS OKU Regency and his team supervised the implementation of the 2025 Captive Power Survey data collection to BSI KC Baturaja and continued to BNI KC Baturaja.

This Captive Power Survey is an effort by BPS to obtain accurate and comprehensive data on electricity consumption and production in the non-electricity sector which aims to obtain data on electricity consumption and electricity production produced by agencies/companies themselves by generating electricity. The data obtained from this survey is very important and will be used as material for development planning and evaluation, especially in the electricity sector. In the implementation process, BPS ensures that all data collected will be kept confidential and used only for statistical purposes and development planning. The companies or agencies that are the samples in 2025 are hotels and banks.

The results of this Captive Power survey are expected to provide a significant contribution to increasing the efficiency of energy use in the industrial sector, as well as supporting the achievement of national development targets in the electricity sector.
