Medium Enterprise Supervision by the BPS OKU Team and the BPS South Sumatra Province Team

Baturaja – On Thursday (July 23, 2026), BPS-Statistics of Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency conducted a medium enterprise supervision activity together with the BPS-Statistics of South Sumatra Province team. The activity was carried out for the coordination and monitoring of medium enterprise data collection in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency.

The supervision is part of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026). Medium enterprises have characteristics that differ from small-scale businesses, so collecting their data requires greater care and more intensive guidance to ensure the information gathered is complete and accurate.

During the activity, both teams discussed technical matters of data collection, from understanding concepts and definitions to how documents are filled in. They also evaluated field implementation to identify the obstacles officers face and find suitable solutions.

In addition, coordination was carried out to make sure the data collection process follows the established rules and standards. The presence of the provincial team gave valuable input to officers in OKU Regency in maintaining data quality.

The activity went smoothly in a cooperative atmosphere. The supervision results will serve as material for improvement and follow-up in the next stage of data collection.

BPS-Statistics of OKU Regency hopes its synergy with BPS-Statistics of South Sumatra Province will continue, so that medium enterprise data collection produces accurate, complete data that benefits regional development planning.
