Abstract

  • The description of export development in South Sumatra Province has fluctuated from month to month,
    in the January-February 2011 period South Sumatra's exports reached a value of US $ 888.23 million
  • The export value of South Sumatra Province in February 2011 decreased by 14.57 percent compared to January 2011, from US $ 479.02 million to US $ 409.21 million.
  • The export value of South Sumatra Province in February 2011 amounted to US $ 409.21 million consisting of exports oil and gas amounting to US $ 30.07 million, and US $ 379.14 million from non-oil commodity exports. Non export value oil and gas in February 2011 decreased by US $ 48.86 million from January 2011. Exports of 7 mainstay commodities decreased in February 2011. The biggest decline in value non-oil and gas exports in February 2011 against January 2011 occurred in CPO commodities amounting to US $ 22.75 million, followed by rubber commodity exports of US $ 9.77 million, and coffee of US $ 1.71 million.
