Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang in April 2011 as many as 513 people. The number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra in April 2011 increased by 6.21 percent compared to March 2011.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in April 2011 reached an average of 58.08 percent, up 3.08 points compared to the TPK of hotels in March 2011 of 55.00 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at five-star hotels in South Sumatra in April 2011 reached 1.51 days, a decrease of 0.32 days compared to the average length of stay of guests in March 2011.
