Abstract

A. Rice
  • Estimated rice production based on forecast figures (Aramaic) III in 2011 amounted to 3.33 million tons of Dry Grain (GKG) up about 60.35 thousand tons (1.84 percent) compared to 2010. The increase in production was caused by an increase in harvested area by 3 , 33 thousand ha (0.43 percent) and productivity increased by 0.60 ku / ha (1.41 percent).
  • Rice production in 2011, as much as 95.32 percent came from lowland rice production which reached 3.18 million tons of paddy and the remaining 4.68 percent came from field rice production of 156.07 thousand tons of paddy.
B. Corn
  • Estimated corn production based on forecast figures (Aramaic) III of 2011 amounted to 125.95 thousand tons of dry shelled, up by 154 tons (0.12 percent) compared to 2010. The increase in production was mainly due to an increase in productivity of 0.58 quintals / hectare or around 1.56 percent compared to the previous year. While the corn harvest area decreased by 474 ha or 1.40 percent from the previous year.
C. Soybean
  • Estimated soybean production based on forecast figures (Aramaic) III in 2011 amounted to 13.96 thousand tons of dry beans, up by 2.30 thousand tons (19.70 percent) from production in 2010. The increase in production was due to an increase in harvested area and productivity respectively - each of 1.31 thousand ha (17.43 percent) and 0.30 ku / ha or (1.94 percent).
