Abstract

  • The export of South Sumatra Province has been fluctuating from month to month, at in December 2011 South Sumatra's exports reached a value of US $ 308.77 million or decreased by 20.02 percent compared to the month November 2011 which reached a value of US $ 386.08 million.
  • Compared to December 2010, South Sumatra exports were the month December 2011 decreased by 22.70 percent.
  • During the January-December 2011 period, exports of the South Sumatra Province experienced an increase of 43.8 percent from US $ 3.51 billion in the same period in 2010 to US $ 5.06 billion.
  • The value of non-oil and gas exports in South Sumatra in December 2011 was still dominated by agricultural commodities, especially rubber, which reached a value of US $ 202.50 million, followed by coal of US $ 7.70 million, and wood / wood products in the amount of US $ 1.35 million
