The city of Palembang in June 2012 experienced inflation of 0.69 percent

Palembang The city of Palembang in Junei 2012 experienced inflation of 0.69 percent as indicated by
the increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 130.36 (May 2012) to 131.26 (June 2012), meanwhile
nationally there was inflation of 0.62 percent.

Inflation that occurred in Palembang City in June 2012 was due to an increase in CPI in 4 (four)
expenditure group, namely the foodstuffs group (2.41 percent), the processed food, beverages,
cigarettes and tobacco (0.47 percent), the health group (0.08 percent) and the education, recreation group
and sports (0.03 percent).

2012 calendar year inflation in Palembang City was 1.04 percent, while inflation was “year on
year ”(June 2012 to June 2011) was 3.94 percent.

Based on the monitoring of prices in 66 cities in Indonesia shows that all cities experience
inflation. The highest inflation occurred in Ambon City (2.39 percent) and the lowest inflation occurred in Bima City (0.04
percent).
