A. RICE

• Rice production in 2013 (Fixed Figures) was 3.68 million tons of dry unhusked rice (GKG), an increase of 381.48 thousand tons (11.58 percent) compared to 2012. Increased production was due to an increase in harvested area and productivity, respectively each increased by 30.31 thousand hectares (3.94 percent) and 3.15 quintal / hectare (7.36 percent).
• Rice production in 2014 (Forecast Number I) is estimated to reach 3.56 million tons of MPD, down by 115.03 thousand tons (3.13 percent) compared to 2013. This decline in production is expected due to a decrease in harvested area and productivity of each of 17.22 thousand hectares (2.15 percent) and 0.46 quintal / hectare (1.00 percent).

 
B. CORN

• Corn production in 2013 (Fixed Figures) amounted to 167.46 thousand tons of dry shelled, up by 54.54 thousand tons (48.30 percent) compared to 2012. Increased production was due to an increase in harvested area and productivity, respectively by 3, 94 thousand hectares (13.77 percent) and 11.97 quintals / hectare (30.33 percent).
• Corn production in 2014 (Forecast Number I) is estimated at 148.93 thousand tons of dry shelled, down by 18.53 thousand tons (11.07 percent) compared to 2013. The decline in corn production is estimated due to a decrease in harvested area of ​​5.68 thousand hectares (17.46 percent), while productivity increased by 3.99 quintal / hectare (7.76 percent).

C. SOYBEAN

• Soybean production in 2013 (Fixed Figures) was 5.14 thousand tons of dry beans, down by 7.02 thousand tons (57.74 percent) compared to 2012. The decline in production was caused by a decrease in harvested area of ​​4.19 thousand hectares (54, 05 percent) and productivity also decreased by 1.26 quintals / hectare (8.04 percent).
• Soybean production in 2014 (Forecast Number I) was 9.74 thousand tons of dry beans, up 4.60 thousand tons (89.55 percent) compared to 2013. The increase in production was due to increased harvested area and productivity respectively by 2.88 thousand hectares (80.84 percent) and 0.70 quintal / hectare (4.85 percent)
