Abstract

* The export value of South Sumatra in January 2016 decreased by 8.57 percent compared to December 2015. Likewise when compared to the same period in 2015 (January 2015) the export of South Sumatra Province decreased by 33.12 percent.

* The export value of South Sumatra Province in January 2016 amounted to US $ 160.08 million consisting of oil and gas exports of US $ 16.31 million and US $ 143.77 million from exports of non-oil and gas commodities.

* The import value of South Sumatra in January 2016 was US $ 261.09 million or an increase of 218.51 percent compared to December 2015.

* Imports of South Sumatra Province in January 2016 amounting to US $ 261.09 million consisted of oil and gas imports of US $ 2.47 million and non-oil and gas revenues of US $ 258.61 million.
