Abstraction
• Palembang City in August 2020 experienced deflation of 0.35 percent. Inflation for the Calendar Year (cumulative up to August 2020) is 0.49 percent, and Annual “year on year” inflation (August 2020 against August 2019) is 0.72 percent. The dominant commodities that contributed to the deflation in August 2020 in Palembang City, were among others: purebred chicken, shallots and tilapia fish.

• Lubuk Linggau City experienced deflation of 0.11 percent in August 2020. Inflation for the Calendar Year (cumulative up to August 2020) is 0.81 percent, with the “year on year” Annual Inflation (August 2020 against August 2019) of 1.09 percent. The dominant commodities that contributed to the deflation in August 2020 in Lubuk Linggau City include: broiler chicken, shallots, eggs and tomatoes.

• South Sumatra Province in August 2020 experienced deflation of 0.33 percent, Calendar Year Inflation (cumulative up to August 2020) of 0.52 percent, and Annual Inflation of “year on year” (August 2020 against August 2019) of 0, 75 percent.
