Abstract

South Sumatra Province in July 2021 experienced Deflation of 0.06 percent, Calendar Year Inflation (cumulative) until July 2021 of 0.76 percent. While the "Year on Year" Annual Inflation (July 2021 to July 2020) was 1.46 percent.
The dominant commodities that caused the July 2021 deflation in South Sumatra, among others: broiler meat, rice, oranges, and broiler eggs, which experienced a decline in prices compared to the average price in June 2021.

Palembang City in July 2021 experienced deflation of 0.06 percent, Inflation for the Calendar Year (Cumulative) until July 2021 was 0.77 percent. While the "Year on Year" Annual Inflation (July 2021 to July 2020) was 1.43 percent.

Lubuk Linggau City in July 2021 experienced deflation of 0.11 percent, Calendar Year (Cumulative) Inflation until July 2021 was 0.65 percent. “Year on Year” Annual Inflation (July 2021 to July 2020) of 1.70 percent.

Indonesia in July 2021, based on price monitoring during July 2021 in 90 CPI cities, showed that 61 CPI cities experienced inflation. Meanwhile, 29 cities experienced deflation.
The highest inflation occurred in Sorong City, at 1.51 percent, the lowest in Sampit City at 0.01 percent.
The highest deflation occurred in Manokwari City at 0.60 percent, the lowest in Samarinda and Maumere at 0.01 percent.
