Trade Balance of Sumatera Selatan in May 2022 Surplus US$552.63 million

Abstraction

• The export value of South Sumatra in May 2022 reached US$618.92 million, down 11.46 percent compared to exports in April 2022. Compared to May 2021, the export value rose by 72.11 percent.
• The value of South Sumatra's imports in May 2022 reached US$66.29 million, a decrease of 14.63 percent compared to April 2022, and an increase of 1.03 percent compared to May 2021.
• South Sumatra's trade balance in May 2022 experienced a surplus of US$552.63 million from the non-oil and gas sector of US$530.22 million, and the oil and gas sector of US$22.41 million.
