Abstract
· The paddy harvested area in 2022 will reach around 513.38 thousand hectares, an increase of 17.14 thousand hectares or 3.45 percent compared to the paddy harvested area in 2021 which was 496.24 thousand hectares.
· Rice production in 2022 is 2,775.07 thousand tons of GKG, an increase of 222.63 thousand tons or 8.72 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 2,552.44 thousand tons of GKG.
· Rice production in 2022 for food consumption for the population will reach 1,593.60 thousand tons, an increase of 127.84 thousand tons or 8.72 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 1,465.75 thousand tons.

In 2024, the rice harvest area will reach 521.09 thousand hectares with rice production of 2.91 million tons GKG.
