Field
implementation evaluation meeting of the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas)
in August 2019 and Semester II was attended by all field officers (PCL and
PML), Tuesday (27/8) in the meeting room of BPS OKU Regency.
Field staff in the
framework of the Annual and Semester II National Labor Force Survey (2019) must
be more careful in conducting data collection. Because quality data can only be
realized if the way to register is also of high quality. Officers must explore
each question raised by respondents. So that accurate and reliable field data
can be obtained as material for development planning in the field of employment
by the central and regional government.
Labor data
collected by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) through censuses and surveys
include: Population Census (SP), Inter-Census Population Survey (SUPAS),
National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) & National Labor Force Survey
(SAKERNAS). From these surveys, only Sakernas was specifically designed to
collect data that could illustrate the general state of employment between
enumeration periods. Until now, Sakernas has experienced various changes in
implementation time, estimation level, coverage, and methodology.
