Visit to the Beautiful Village of Lubuk Rukam

Wednesday (15/11/2023) the Acting Regent of OKU made a direct visit to the Love Statistics Village of Lubuk Rukam, Peninjauan District. Also present at the event were Assistant III of the Regional Secretariat of OKU, Heads of related Services, Chair of STAI Baturaja, Head of the Review District, Danranmil for Review, Head of the Review Police and the general public.

The event began with the beating of a gong and cutting a ribbon as a sign that Lubuk Rukam Village had been inaugurated as a Beautiful Village in OKU Regency in 2023. The activity continued with a direct inspection of the Village office space as well as the Statistical Agent explaining the various changes that had been made during the development of beautiful villages by BPS OKU Regency. . These include changes to office facilities that are more comfortable, digital-based guest books, village monographs that have been presented visually in the form of infographics, as well as data innovations that will be displayed up to RT level, such as Villages in Figures, Village Digital Publications, Village E-monographs , as well as Village Thematic Maps and village websites.

In his speech, the Head of BPS OKU Regency said that the Beautiful Village or love of statistics program aims to increase village capability and literacy of village officials in the use of statistical data. Based on the Republic of Indonesia BPS Decree, Lubuk Rukam Village was designated as one of the villages targeted for developing Beautiful Villages in 2023 from 230 villages/sub-districts throughout Indonesia and participated in the National level assessment. It is hoped that this program will be able to encourage progress in the development of Lubuk Rukam Village.

Meanwhile, the Acting Regent of OKU really welcomed the selection of Lubuk Rukam Village as a Beautiful Village to take part in the national level beautiful village assessment. Acting The Regent of OKU also conveyed to all OPDs, sub-district heads, village heads/heads to work together to support the success of the statistical love village program not only in Lubuk Rukam village but in villages/sub-districts throughout Ogan Komering Ulu Regency so that they are able to produce up-to-date and accurate data. , so that in the future, village development will be more targeted.
