Overview of Phase 2 Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) Evaluation Training in 2024

Monday (18/3/2024) The Implementation Team and Agency Assessment Team (TPB) of BPS throughout South Sumatra Province took part in an online overview of evaluation training for the implementation of sectoral statistics phase 2 in 20224 as a form of implementation of Central Statistics Agency Regulation Number 3 of 2022 concerning Evaluation Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS). Sectoral statistics are statistics whose use is intended to meet the needs of certain government agencies in the context of carrying out government tasks and development tasks which are the main tasks of the government agency concerned.

 

Overview The 2nd stage of EPSS training was carried out as preparation before TPI began carrying out an independent assessment which is the initial stage of EPSS so that later it can understand the 38 indicators in EPSS and provide appropriate supporting evidence so as to produce a Statistical Development Index that is in accordance with sectoral statistical developments.

 

The assessment in this EPSS activity is carried out by the Internal Assessment Team (TPI) formed by each agency and the Agency Assessment Team (TPB) from BPS. The EPSS stages consist of Self-Assessment, Document Assessment, Interview Assessment and Assessment.
