Wednesday (10/07/2024), the OKU Regency BPS Cantik Village Development Team took part in the Internalization of Cantik Village online via a Zoom Meeting which was held nationally and attended by Provincial BPS and Regency/City BPS throughout Indonesia.

CANTIK DESA aims to increase statistical literacy, standardize statistics, optimize statistics for development and form a statistical agent at the village level that is able to play a role in the field of statistics at the village level. Villages/Subdistricts as the spearhead of village development as well as the spearhead of sectoral data collection need to be motivated and nurtured to produce quality data directly from the source.

The target outcome for developing beautiful villages in 2024 is 502 villages.
