BPS of South Sumatra Province has released Official Statistics News on November 5, 2024 regarding the employment situation in August 2024 and economic growth in the third quarter of 2024.

In line with the growth of the South Sumatra economy in the third quarter of 2024 by 5.04 percent (y-on-y), the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) of South Sumatra in August 2024 fell to 3.86 percent. A TPT of this size means that out of 100 people in the workforce, there are around 4 unemployed.
