BPS released the Development of Indonesian Exports-Imports in October 2024 and the Human Development Index (HDI) in 2024, (11/15).

Indonesia's HDI in 2024 reached 75.02 or increased by 0.85 percent compared to 2023. The HDI in 2024 is in the high category, ranging from 70-80.

According to the Acting Head of BPS, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, Indonesia's goods trade balance again experienced a surplus of US$2.48 billion or cumulatively (January-October 2024) reaching US$24.43 billion. Indonesia's trade balance has recorded a surplus for 54 consecutive months since May 2020.
