BPS Ogan Komering Ulu Regency participated in the implementation of the Pancasila Birth Day Ceremony, Monday, June 2, 2025, together with the OKU Regency Government, which took place in the OKU Regent's Office Yard.

The solemn ceremony was led directly by the Regent of Ogan Komering Ulu, Mr. H. Teddy Meilwansyah, as the Ceremony Inspector. The activity was attended by all levels of Forkopimda, OPD, BUMN, BUMD, and state civil servants from various agencies, including all BPS OKU employees.

This year's commemoration carries the theme:

which also serves as a reminder that Pancasila is not only a formulation of the state's foundation, but also a moral compass and guide to national life.

In his speech, the Regent of OKU said that:

"Pancasila Birth Day is a day when we not only remember the formulation of the state's foundation, but also reaffirm our commitment to the noble values ​​that are the foundation of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Pancasila is not just a historical document or normative text written in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution. It is the soul of the nation, a guideline for living together, and a guiding star in realizing the ideals of an independent, united, sovereign, just, and prosperous Indonesia."

Furthermore, he emphasized that Pancasila is a big home for Indonesia's diversity. It unites more than 270 million people with different ethnic, religious, racial, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds. From the first to the fifth principle, Pancasila contains principles that guide national development with the spirit of mutual cooperation, social justice, and respect for human dignity.
