2025 Inter-Census Population Survey Officer Training (SUPAS)

On June 2-4, 2025, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency held the 2025 Inter-Census Population Survey Officer Training (SUPAS) as part of the preparation for the implementation of national field data collection. This activity is a strategic step to produce accurate, up-to-date, and accountable population data.

This training was attended by 21 Field Data Collection Officers (PCL) and 6 Field Supervisor Officers (PML). Held in a hybrid manner, the training lasted for three days, where the first and second days were carried out online via Zoom Meeting, with material discussing data collection techniques and procedures for filling out questionnaires.

The second day was continued with face-to-face training at the BIL Hotel, Baturaja, with material on household updates and direct practice with a trial of the field data collection application to improve understanding for all officers.

The training was officially opened by the Head of BPS OKU Regency, Mrs. Anugrahani Prasetyowati, who in her speech conveyed the importance of commitment, integrity, and accuracy of officers in producing SUPAS data that can be the basis for national and regional development planning. With this training, it is hoped that officers will be ready to face challenges in the field and be able to make real contributions to the progress of OKU Regency through reliable and quality statistical data.
