Abstract

  • The description of export development in South Sumatra Province has fluctuated from month to month,
    in the January-November 2010 period South Sumatra exports reached a value of US $ 3,117.46
    million.
  • The export value of South Sumatra Province in November 2010 increased by 11.40 percent compared to October 2010, from US $ 343.66 million to US $ 382.86 million.
  • The export value of South Sumatra Province in November 2010 was US $ 382.86 million consisting of oil and gas exports amounted to US $ 38.88 million, and US $ 343.98 million from non-oil commodity exports. Export value non oil and gas in November 2010 increased by US $ 40.80 million from October 2010. The biggest increase in the value of non-oil exports in November 2010 compared to October 2010 occurred in rubber commodities of US $ 17.28 million, followed by exports of CPO commodities of US $ 9.08 million.
  • South Sumatra exports in November 2010 to China, the United States, and Malaysia is the main destination country, each reaching US $ 122.01 million, US $ 78.61 million and US $ 43.69 million, with the roles of the three reaching 63.81 percent of total exports.
