Abstract

  • The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang in August 2011 as many as 413 people. The number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra in August 2011 decreased by 33.81 percent compared to July 2011.
  • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in August 2011 reached an average of 55.97 percent, down 1.98 points compared to the hotel TPK in July 2011 of 57.95 percent.
  • The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at five-star hotels in South Sumatra in August 2011 reached 2.07 days, an increase of 0.42 days compared to the average length of stay of guests in July 2011
