  • The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting in South Sumatra through the entrance Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang in October 2011 as many as 738 people. The number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra in October 2011 has increased by 41.38 percent compared to September 2011.
  • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in October 2011 reaching an average of 58.38 percent, or up 2.38 points compared to the hotel TPK in September 2011 amounting to 56.00 percent.
  • Average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at five-star hotels in South Sumatra October 2011 reached 1.72 days, an increase of 0.01 days compared to the average long stay of guests in September 2011
