Abstract

  • Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) * South Sumatra in April 2012 amounted to 110.42 percent, indicating that
    in general the purchasing power of farmers in April 2012 was better than the base year 2007. When compared
    with the previous month, April 2012 NTP increased by 0.04 due to the index increase
    the price received by farmers is generally greater with the increase in the price index paid by farmers.
  • NTP Padi & Palawija in South Sumatra in April 2012 amounted to 124.67 percent, indicating that farmers
    rice and secondary crops are relatively prosperous compared to the 2007 base year. When compared to the month
    previously, the NTP of rice and crops in April 2012 rose by 0.13 percent.
  • Horticulture NTP in April 2012 was 113.50 percent, which means the level of welfare of horticultural farmers
    better than the base year 2007. But when compared with the previous month, NTP horticulture
    April fell by 0.32 percent.
  • NTP People's Plantation Plantations (planters) in South Sumatra in April 2012 amounted to 93.03 percent,
    shows that planters in South Sumatra are still experiencing deficits. When compared to the moon

    the farmer. In April 2012 rural areas in South Sumatra experienced inflation of 0.50 percent,
    mainly due to the increase in the price index of the foodstuffs group by 0.72 percent.
