  • The number of foreign tourists visiting in South Sumatra through the entrance of the Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in September 2013 was 1,241 people. The number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra in September 2013 experienced an increase of 36.52 percent compared to August 2013.
  • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in September 2013 reached an average of 55.82 percent, up 13.54 points compared to the August 2016 hotel ROR 42.28 percent.
  • The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at five-star hotels in South Sumatra in September 2013 reached 1.93 days, an increase of 0.05 days compared to the average length of stay of guests in August 2013.
