Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in December 2013 was 1,026 people. The number of foreign tourists visiting South Sumatra in December 2013 decreased by 4.65 percent compared to November 2013.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in December 2013 reached an average of 47.00 percent, or decreased by 10.13 points compared to the ROR for hotels in November 2013 which was 57.13 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at five-star hotels in South Sumatra in December 2013 reached 1.55 days, a decrease of 0.11 days compared to the average length of stay of guests in November 2013.
