Abstract


Abstraction 1. Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) * South Sumatra in September 2015 amounted to 95.73 percent, indicating that in general the purchasing power of farmers in September 2015 decreased compared to the base year of 2012. Meanwhile, when compared to the previous month, September NTP 2015 fell by 0.22 percent due to an increase in the price index received by farmers lower than the increase in the price index paid by farmers. 2. The South Sumatra Agricultural Business Exchange (NTUP) in September 2015 amounted to 102.24 percent, indicating that in general the purchasing power of farmers in September 2015 was better than the 2012 base year. Likewise when compared to the previous month, NTUP September 2015 rose by 0.07 percent. 3. NTP without the South Sumatra Fisheries Sector in September 2015 amounted to 95.66 percent, indicating that in general the purchasing power of farmers in September 2015 decreased compared to the base year of 2012. Similarly, compared to the previous month, FTT without fisheries in September 2015 fell by 0.17 percent. 4. NTUP Without the South Sumatra Fisheries Sector in September 2015 amounted to 102.23 percent, indicating that in general the purchasing power of farmers in September 2015 was better than the base year of 2012. Likewise when compared to the previous month, NTUP September 2015 experienced an increase of 0 , 11 percent. 5. Based on the NTP and NTUP sub-sector, in September 2015 the sub-sector experienced an increase compared to August 2015, namely the food crop sub-sector and livestock sub-sector, while the horticulture sub-sector, the plantation plantation sub-sector, and the fisheries sub-sector decreased . 6. Rural inflation / deflation is indicated by changes in the price index of goods and services consumed by farmer households. In September 2015 rural areas in South Sumatra experienced inflation of 0.55 percent. All expenditure groups experienced the highest inflation and inflation in the foodstuffs group, namely inflation of 0.79 percent.
