The growth of production of the Large Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) of South Sumatra in the first quarter of 2016 amounted to minus 3.92 percent, far lower than the growth in the fourth quarter of 2015 of 0.93 percent.

SOUTH SUMATERA QUARTER I 2016 FOR MINUS 3.92 PERCENT

 

ü The growth of production of the Large Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) of South Sumatra in the first quarter of 2016 amounted to minus 3.92 percent, far lower than the growth in the fourth quarter of 2015 of 0.93 percent.

 

ü All IBS production in South Sumatra experienced negative growth during the First Quarter of 2016 with the lowest growth occurring in the Food Industry by minus 4.08 percent.

 

ü Nationally, the growth of IBS production in the first quarter of 2016 also experienced a slowdown of minus 1.34 percent.

 

 

GROWTH OF SMALL MICRO MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY PRODUCTION

SUMATERA SELATAN TRIWULAN I IN 2016 AT 3.29 PERCENT

 

ü South Sumatra's first quarter Micro Small Manufacturing Industry (IMK) production grew by 3.29 percent, slightly lower than the previous quarter's growth of 5.24 percent.

 

ü The highest production growth occurred in the Other Transport Equipment Industry at 12.52 percent, whereas the lowest production growth occurred in the Beverage Industry at minus 4.87 percent.
