Reconciliation of IKK (Construction Cost Index) Data for 2024

Thursday (13/06/2024) to Friday (14/06/2024), the Price, Finance and Tourism Statistics Team took part in the 2024 IKK (Construction Cost Index) data reconciliation activity. This activity was carried out to confirm the raw checking results. SHKK data as well as information regarding trade distribution channels for construction commodities traded in the region. IKK is a price index that describes the level of expensive construction in a district/city compared to a reference city. The reference city is selected by considering the index value of a city which is close to the national average index, the completeness of the data and the city's position in trade routes. The greater the IKK indicates that it is relatively more difficult to obtain building/construction materials and the relatively higher price of building/construction materials in the area.

Several commodities underwent improvements in size dimensions, namely soil fill, concrete blocks, class II and class III wood beams, class II and class III wood planks. Apart from improving the size dimensions, several commodities that are not found in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency borrowed data from several districts that have these commodities, for example Palembang City, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency and Prabumulih City.
