Abstract
Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) * South Sumatra in January 2011 was 108.17 percent, indicated
that in general the purchasing power of farmers in January 2011 was better than the base year 2007. If
compared to the previous month, the January 2011 NTP did not change or amounted to 0.36
percent, which is due to an increase in the price index received by farmers in general is greater if
compared to the increase in the price index paid by farmers.
