South Sumatra Province ITK in the fourth quarter of 2011 amounted to 107.31, worth more than 100, that is
Consumer economic conditions improved compared to the previous quarter. But the level of trust
consumers decreased compared to the third quarter of 2011 (ITK value of 108.96).

The improvement in consumer economic conditions was mainly driven by an increase in home income
current ladder (ITK value of 111.22), the low influence of inflation on food consumption
daily (ITK value of 105.08) and an increase in consumption of some food commodities and
non-food (ITK value of 100.23).
