Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting in South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang in January 2014 was 937 people. The number of foreign tourists coming to South Sumatra in January 2014 decreased by 8.67 percent compared to December 2013.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in January 2014 reached an average of 41.57 percent, down 5.43 points compared to the ROR of hotels in December 2013 which amounted to 47.00 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at five-star hotels in South Sumatra in January reached 1.80 days, an increase of 0.25 days compared to the average length of stay of guests in December 2013.
