The city of Palembang in June 2016 experienced inflation of 0.46 percent while Lubuk Linggau City experienced inflation of 0.72 percent

* The cumulative inflation rate for 2016 is 1.37 percent. While the inflation rate "year on year" (June 2016 to June 2015) is 4.37 percent. The city of Palembang in June 2016 based on expenditure groups, showed that 6 (six) expenditure groups, namely clothing group at 2.42 percent; health group by 1.10 percent; processed foods, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco group of 1.07 percent; education, recreation and sports group by 0.25 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel group by 0.19 percent; and foodstuffs group by 0.13 percent. While 1 (one) expenditure group experienced a decline in the price index, namely the transportation, communication & financial services group of -0.19 percent.

* Commodities experiencing price increases that cause inflation in Palembang City include: carrots, chicken eggs, clove cigarettes, potatoes, kale, spinach and cars. While commodities which experienced price declines include: leeks, shallots, vegetable tomatoes, saluang fish and air transportation.
