The growth in production of the South Sumatra Large Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) in the second quarter of 2016 was 3.85 percent

GROWTH OF GREAT MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY PRODUCTION

SUMATERA SELATAN TRIWULAN II, 2016 AT 3.85 PERCENT

 

ü Growth in production of the Large Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) of South Sumatra in the second quarter of 2016 was 3.85 percent, an increase compared to the growth in the previous quarter of minus 3.98 percent.

 

ü Most of the production of IBS South Sumatra experienced an increase in growth during the Second Quarter of 2016 except the Paper and Paper Products Industry which experienced a slowdown of growth of minus 1.60 percent.

 

ü The increase in IBS production growth that occurred in almost all regions of Indonesia during the Second Quarter of 2016 caused the growth of National IBS to increase by 3.54 percent.

 

 

GROWTH OF SMALL MICRO MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY PRODUCTION

SUMATERA SELATAN TRIWULAN II, 2016 AT 4.10 PERCENT

 

ü South Sumatra Micro Small Manufacturing Industry (IMK) Production in the Second Quarter of 2016 grew by 4.10 percent, an increase of 0.81 percent compared to the previous quarter's growth of 3.29 percent.

 

ü The highest production growth occurred in the YTDL Machinery and Equipment Industry at 17.80 percent, while the lowest production growth occurred in the Beverage Industry at minus 11.49 percent.

 

ü In the second quarter of 2016, the growth of IMK production in South Sumatra was lower than the national growth which increased by 5.74 percent.
