Abstract

Abstraction
  • The growth in production of the South Sumatra Large Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) in the second quarter of 2015 was 5.27 percent, slightly lower than the growth in the previous quarter of 6.79 percent.
  •  IBS with the highest growth was Rubber Industry, Rubber and Plastics Goods at 8.67 percent, while the lowest growth occurred in the Timber Industry, Wood and Cork Products, and Woven Items from Bamboo, Rattan and the like amounting to 1.59 percent.
  • Nationally, IBS production growth in Quarter II of 2015 was 2.34 percent, an increase compared to the previous quarter's growth of minus 0.70 percent.
  • South Sumatra's Micro Small Manufacturing Industry (IMK) Production in the Second Quarter of 2015 experienced a slowdown of growth of minus 6.07 percent, lower than the previous quarter's growth of minus 3.42 percent.
  • The highest production growth occurred in the Other Transport Equipment Industry at 11.66 percent, while the lowest production growth occurred in the Motor Vehicle, Trailer and Semi Trailer Industries at minus 13.79 percent.
  • The growth of production in South Sumatra IMK in the second quarter of 2015 was far lower than the national growth which recorded a positive number of 5.09 percent.
