Abstract

The ITK value of South Sumatra Province in the second quarter of 2017 was 114.67, meaning that the economic conditions of consumers increased from the previous quarter. This level of consumer optimism was higher than the previous quarter (ITK value of 101.62).
The improvement in consumer economic conditions in the second quarter of 2017 was mainly driven by rising consumption volume (index value of 129.46), followed by income (index value of 111.96) and low influence of inflation on total consumption (index value of 108.10) .
