· Farmer Exchange Rate of South Sumatra Province in August 2019 was recorded at 89.02 or decreased by 1.08 percent compared to the previous month's FTT, the decline in FTT was influenced by the Farmer Received Price Index (IT) which decreased by 0.95 percent, while Ib rose by 0.14 percent.
· Farmers Exchange Rate Decrease in August 2019 was affected by the decline in FTT in the horticultural crops sub sector by 1.56 percent, smallholder plantations 3.28 percent, fisheries in general 0.73 percent and aquaculture fisheries 1.91 percent. Whereas FTT in the other subsectors increased, namely: food crops 0.83 percent, livestock 1.59 percent and capture fisheries 0.56 percent.
· In August 2019, rural inflation occurred in South Sumatra by 0.17 percent due to an increase in the index in almost all groups, each increasing by: 0.26 percent foodstuffs, processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.04 percent, housing 0.20 percent, clothing 0.18 percent and health 0.16 percent. Meanwhile the transportation and communication group experienced a decrease of 0.05 percent, while the education, recreation and sports group did not change.
· In August 2019 there was a decrease in NTUP of 1.01 percent. This happened because It decreased by 0.95 percent, while the Production Cost and Capital Addition (BPPBM) index increased by 0.06 percent. The fall in NTUP was caused by a decrease in NTUP in the horticultural crops sub-sector by 1.54 percent, people's plantations 3.15 percent, fisheries in general 0.75 percent and aquaculture fisheries 1.90 percent. While the NTUP that experienced an increase were the food crops sub-sector by 0.86 percent, and capture fisheries by 0.51 percent.
