The city of Palembang in November 2016 experienced inflation of 0.57 percent while Lubuk Linggau City experienced inflation of 0.46 percent

* The cumulative inflation rate for 2016 is 2.99 percent. While the rate of inflation "year on year" (November 2016 to November 2015) was 4.14 percent. The city of Palembang in November 2016 based on expenditure groups, showed that 5 (five) groups experienced an increase in the price index, namely the foodstuffs group at (2.15 percent); processed foods, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco group of 0.66 percent; health group by 0.11 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel group by 0.06 percent; and education, recreation and sports groups by 0.04 percent. While 2 (two) expenditure groups experienced a decrease in the price index, namely the transportation, communication & financial services group of (-0.19 percent); and clothing group by (-0.10 percent).

* Commodities that experience price increases that cause inflation in Palembang City include: red chillies, shallots, filtered clove cigarettes, vegetable tomatoes, and long beans. While commodities which experienced price declines include: chicken meat, air transportation, chicken eggs, cooking oil and wet shrimp.

* The cumulative inflation rate of 2016 to November is 2.63 percent and the rate of inflation "year on year" (November 2016 to November 2015) is 4.07 percent.

* Commodities experiencing price increases that caused inflation in Lubuk Linggau City in November 2016 included red chillies, shallots, soup, bath soap, cayenne pepper and maintenance / service. While commodities that experienced a decline in prices included race chicken, potatoes, granulated sugar, cooking oil and vegetable tomatoes.
